Love Is...

When I saw today's photo challenge prompt, "a fave photo of you", I didn't even think twice about what I would photograph.  I love this picture of my husband and me.

It was taken in October 1994 at the Great Salt Lake.
A year or so ago I found the perfect frame for this photo at Hobby Lobby.

Surrounding the photo is a passage from the Bible that defines "love."  This passage, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, was read during our wedding ceremony and has always held special meaning for me and Jon.  I was thrilled when I found this frame!
Even if you've never read the Bible or don't believe in God, it would be hard to disagree with His perfect definition of love:
Love is patient, love is kind.
Love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way,
it is not irritable or resentful,
it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
